The Goal and Purpose of Youth Services

Is to assist and encourage youth in Lewis County to maximize their independence and integration into the community. Furthermore effecting a lasting change and attitudes in the community about youths and young adults.

Services :

  • Meeting formally and informally with Lewis County youth, to discover and encourage their interests
  • Encouraging youth participation in school and community activities
  • Encouraging and modeling life skills, continuing post secondary education and job readiness
  • Outreach within Lewis County to create and promote interest groups and opportunities for youth in their communities
  • Arranging formal and informal social opportunities for youth to expand their community connections and promote natural growth in commu- nity groups, relationships and friend- ships
